In August 2003, I left my position as director/curator of pARTs Photographic Arts to pursue my own projects. I had become interested in photographing artists in their studios through work I was doing for the gallery. I embarked on the road to find only self-taught artists for in-terviews and portraits, as well as landscapes encountered on my travels to and from their studios. The portfolio contains artist portraits, images of their work and landscapes.
